The May/June 2002 issue of Photo Techniques

Transparencies Back to Life. This article by Bob Pace details
the process he followed to restore a faded color transparency of an
outtake from Marilyn's 1949 nude calendar session.
The May/June 2002 issue of American Photo has a four
page illustrated feature about Douglas Kirkland's 1961
photo session with Marilyn.
The April 2002 issue of Photo
District News features an article profiling Joshua Greene
and his efforts to digitally restore his father's photographs. The
article, Some Like It Retouched, includes a color image of
Marilyn, before and after restoration. Don't miss the full size
version of the image on page 61.

months as she searches for, purchases, and furnishes her first
home. A thoughtful and revealing work, beautifully illustrated.
